My current focuses right now.

Vision

In today's AI-driven world, creating comes by effortlessly... thus making quality scarce. Taste takes time to develop, and craft leverages that taste to create products that feel intentional and cohesive. After years refining both, I’ve learned to build web experiences that blend design, development, and motion into functional, delightful interfaces.

Good design is obvious. Great design is transparent.

Work

I’ve recently joined a private real estate investment company, taking on the roles of Marketing Operations Manager and resident Design Engineer, leading the buildout of their online presence @doreal.ca.

Learning

I'm currently taking Emil Kowalski's course "Animations on the Web", which feels like the missing piece to take my craft to the next level. I'm also digging into "The 1-Page Marketing Plan" by Allan Dib to learn how to grow a business.

In a humble attempt to "quickly" update my websites 3-year-old dependencies, I fell face-first into a full-on refactor & redesign. I've turned my portfolio into the Digital Garden 🌷🌳 you see here today—my safe haven where I can plant seeds of imperfection through experimentation, writing, and learning in public.

This project heroic unfolded across a few major phases: modernizing the stack, expanding the site from a single page into a small ecosystem, and layering in core features that make it feel more cohesive and intentional throughout. Along the way I refreshed the design system, simplified the styling approach, gave myself a space to write, and wove in animations to bring my site to life.

It's been such a joy to express myself through this newly-minted Digital Garden. If you'd like to see what it looked like before these updates, take a step back in time.

Life

In my day-to-day life I enjoy walking through High Park with my Standard Poodle Aura, listening to a plethora of music, exploring new coffee shops/restaurants, cooking, gaming, and whether it's summer biking or winter snowboarding—I always enjoy being in nature.
